Julia can usually be found either in Seattle or Alaska as she enjoys the outdoors, traveling, flying and of course writing.

She has a Bachelors and Masters degree in Criminology and has been a federal agent for 20 years.

Classical music is one of her greatest passions.

Julia is a member of the Pacific Northwest Writers Association and two Romance Writers of America (RWA) chapters:  Greater Seattle and Alaska.

She has conducted seminars for the RWA National Conference in San Francisco, Pacific Northwest Writers' Conference, RWA Emerald City Writers' Conference and Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers' Colorado Gold Conference.
