Julia can usually be found either in Seattle or Alaska as she enjoys the outdoors, traveling, flying and of course writing.

She has a Bachelors and Masters degree in Criminology, a Certificate in Digital Forensics, and has been a federal agent for over 22 years.

Classical music is one of her greatest passions.

Julia is a member of the Pacific Northwest Writers Association and three Romance Writers of America (RWA) chapters, and serves as the Vice Present for the Greater Seattle RWA chapter.

She has conducted seminars for the RWA National Conference, Pacific Northwest Writers' Conference, RWA Emerald City Writers' Conference, Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers' Colorado Gold Conference and Romance Writers of Australia.
