Julia can usually be found either in Seattle or Alaska as she enjoys the outdoors, traveling, flying and of course writing.

She has a Bachelors and Masters degree in Criminology and has been a federal agent for 19 years.

Classical music is one of her greatest passions.

Julia is a member of two Romance Writers of America (RWA) chapters:  Greater Seattle and Alaska.

She has conducted seminars for the Pacific Northwest Writers' Conference, RWA Emerald City Writers' Conference and Mystery Writers of America Seattle Chapter. She is scheduled to present at the RWA Annual National Conference in July 2008.
