First, I must say that I was so honored and humbled to receive the Ann Rule scholarship to attend the 2008 Pacific Northwest Writers Association Conference. Thank you to all who made that happen.
The conference supported various tracks such as non-fiction, children's, romance, legal, craft, screenwriting, mystery/thriller, marketing and much more. About 19 agents and 9 editors participated; and guest speakers included Robert Dugoni, Blake Snyder and Gayle Lynds.
For the agent and editor appointments, I intended to emphasize a non-fiction project I was recently solicited to write -- but to my surprise and great pleasure there was also interest in the fiction books that I set aside to do the non-fiction project. You gotta love life's little ironies. So yes of course, I'll try to find a way to keep all the projects going.
